Hotpoint Aquarius Washing Machine Door Locked

I have managed to manually release the door as there was washing in it.

Closed the door and the door lock will not engage so no filling could i do this myself repair it or is it a cheap enough job i could get someone in to do it. So switched off from the mains then could open the door and take out the washed clothes. I think the door interlock is broken. However it just won t open.
